- You must go back to Egypt and return the Israelites to Canaan - God
- Moses's mom saves him by sending him down the river instead of killing him, and he is rescued and raised by the Pharaoh's family.
- Come with me Isrealites, and do not question your faith.
- Moses kills an Egyptian guard for being too harsh to an Israelite and runs away out of fear. he marries the daughter of Jethro and becomes a shepherd. God finds him and gives him a staff for miracles and tells him to go save the Israelites.
- Moses goes to Egypt with Aaron and demands that the Pharaoh release the Israelites, and he refuses. God releases the ten plagues on the Pharaoh, and by the end, the Pharaoh gives in after losing his firstborn son. Moses and the Israelites leave for Canaan.
- the freed Israelites and Moses head towards the sea with Pharoah chasing them. Moses parts the sea and closes it after they cross, drowning the Egyptians. God sends them manna from heaven and grants them the power to defeat the Amalekite army in battle.
- Moses and the Israelites arrive at Mount Sinai after 3 months. Moses climbs the mountain where God appeared and is given 2 stone tablets of the 10 commandments. God demands that everyone follows them and in return, he will keep his covenant. the people agree and God gives Moses instructions on how to build an ark. he also stresses the importance of the sabbath as a day of rest.

- Moses stayed up in the mountain for 40 days, and when he came back down he saw that Israelites erected a gold calf statue to worship among their doubts. god plans to punish them, but Moses defends them, reminding god of his covenant. god plans to continue meeting with Moses in a tent for worship. the Israelites renew their covenant and erect a tabernacle for God.
