- You should come visit me at my job so that I can talk to you.
- Did your sister really have a baby? 
- I cannot tell you, my father will find out.
- I'll try.
- You should go now. Do you think you will be able to come back next Saturday? 
- Cal runs into Gretchen at the bakery the day before and tries to talk to her. She tells him that she is not able to talk to him or else her father will find out. The next day at school she asks if Cal is going to the bakery on Saturday. She offers to talk to him on her break
- The next day when Gretchen is on her break, she lets Cal inside so that they can talk. 
- After Cal asks Gretchen some uncomfortable questions, she tells him that he should be on his way.
