- C'mon Charles, we have been exiled into the wilderness!

- Crossing Into the Unknown Part 1
- Surrender your castle to us or else!
- Ok Our castle garrison is low on morale and supplies so we surrender!
- Charles, a 7 year old boy, is the son of the King of the Pomtu Kingdom in the 11th century. He is exiled into the wilderness outside the kingdom with his mother after his father, King Cleg of Pomtu, is overthrown and killed by Charles' uncle Henry.

- Charles is now 27 and the ruler of a confederation of tribes in the wilderness. Henry is immensely unpopular as he is a tyrannical ruler. A group of rebels that oppose Henry contact Charles and offer to put him on the throne is he helps overthrow Henry, and he agrees.
- The Challenges or Trials
- Charles, we are running low on supplies and it seems as if Henry's army can outlast us. we are in a dire situation.
- Charles gathers a 3.000 man army of rebels and tribesmen and marches to the most strategic castle in Pomtu, the Dundabar Castle. After a minor siege, the castle is seized.
- The Supernatural Helper
- Hello Charles, I am Plotomir, a wizard, and would love to help you with your campaign against Henry.
- Thank you, I appreciate your help!
- As Charles is besieging the castle, Henry hears of this threat. He musters an army of 15,000 and begins marching, but could not reach the castle before it fell.
- Onward men! we march for the kingdom and for me, your king!
- When Henry's army arrives, he begins besieging Charles' army that's inside the castle, and Charles' army starts to run low on portions.
- Not to worry my good general. I'll think of something.
- Well do it soon or we may have to surrender!
- As the siege continues, an old man that lives in the castle introduces himself to Charles as Plotomir, a wizard who opposes Henry. Plotomir offers his help to Charles, who eagerly accepts, and the two become good friends.
