- Hello ma'am and sir. Welcome to the science exhibition. I made a presentation on atom.

- ATOM
- This is an atom. As you might know, atom is the smallest particle in the world. Atoms make up everything.Atoms and molecules are the building block of matter.
- The nucleus (plural, nuclei) is a positively charged region at the center of the atom. It consists of two types of subatomic particles packed tightly together. The particles are protons, which have a positive electric charge, and neutrons, which are neutral in electric charge.
- NUCLEUS
- Now that we have talked about nucleus, lets talk about the particles which make up the the nucleus. Those are protons and neutron. First lets talk abt protons. Protons are positively charged. The atomic number of a element depends on the no.of protons.
- PROTONS 
- A neutron is an uncharged (electrically neutral) subatomic particle with mass 1,839 times that of the electron
- NEUTRONS
- An electron is a negatively charged subatomic particle. It can be either free (not attached to any atom), or bound to the nucleus of an atom. Electrons in atoms exist in spherical shells of various radii, representing energy levels.
