- In the beginning of chapter 7, Annabeth is showing the last of camp to Percy. After Annabeth was done showing Percy the camp Percy had to say sorry to Annabeth after what happend in the bathroom but Annabeth really just wants to talk about the Oracle she is telling Percy he is not a regular human he is half-blooded and also a demi- god because Percy's dad is an Olympian so that explains why Percy must be half blooded because most kids that are half-blooded have parents that are Olympians.
- In the middle of chapter 7, Percy goes to cabin 11 while dinner is getting prepared and notices something weird most of the kids in that cabin have the same features of the gods. While he is noticing that a consular name Luke came into the cabin to give Percy a sleeping bag. Meanwhile Luke is giving Percy the sleeping bag, Percy decides to tell Luke if dad is Hermes and Luke says he is the child of Hermes but he has only seen his dad once. Percy tell Luke about what Annabeth was saying about the Oracle and Luke tells him that she need to wait until someone special comes to camp so she can go on a quest.
- At the end of chapter 7, Percy gets his food and goes to the fire. He throws some of his food in the fire because they say that the gods like the smell of it.
