- The Introduction
- Hi my name is Aqua! I am going to show you my journey through the states of Matter.
- FROM A SOLID
- My energy is as slow as a sloth. I am a solid so I have a fixed shape and have a fixed volume. I am also 0 degrees that is very cold.
- I started off in the middle of the Southern Ocean. My particles are all bunched together moving very slowly.
- When I finally do what frozen things do in SUMMER!
- IT'S GETTING HOT IN HERE
- kinda getting warm!
- Aqua is going to tell you about each state of matter including its particles, energy level, and fixed shape or volume.
- TO A LIQUID
- I have no fixed shape because I am a liquid I take the shape of whatever I am in. But I do have a fixed volume.
- I am now a liquid! My temperature is 72 degrees. My particles are far apart and my energy is medium.
- In this Slide Aqua is describing how being a solid is all about. Telling us about her particles, her low energy, her fixed volume, and fixed shape she has since she is FROZEN!
- TO A GAS
- I have no fixed shape and I have no fixed volume.
- I am now a gas! My temperature is 100 degrees. I have the highest energy, my particles are very far apart, and move very quickly.
- Aqua is starting a phase change from a solid to a liquid she is melting.
- Conclusion
- In this slide Aqua is telling us about being a liquid. Her particles are farther apart, she has medium energy, has no fixed shape, and has a fixed volume. She is starting a phase change into a gas.
- I also think I am starting to evaporate into a gas.
- Aqua is telling us about being a gas. It has the highest energy, particles, and if it has a fixed volume or no, and if it has a fixed shape or no. Now lets make are conclusion.
- Aqua is telling us about he journey through that states of matter and what she learned.
- Through my journey of being a solid, liquid, and gas I have learned so many new things about each state of matter. With different temperatures, my energy level, and my particles. This was my journey through being a solid, liquid, and gas.
