- Oh! Why can't I breathe properly when I am outside? Pollution is everywhere and people are getting affected by it!
- I think I need to see my doctor. My difficulty in breathing has been going on for weeks and I need to take action before this case gets worsen.
- I always experience coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness every time I go outside and find it hard for me to breathe.
- It looks like you have an asthma. It is a condition wherein your airways narrow and swell which makes it difficult for you to breathe.
- Asthma? What is it, what triggers it, and how can I prevent it?
- Based on the assessments we had, asthma is a disease that affects your lungs. Your airways are inflamed which causes chest pain and difficulty in breathing. Not to worry dear, you only have a mild asthma, it can be avoided easily. Do you have an inhaler?
- Yes, I have. My mom let's me bring it with me everyday and says that I should use it if I had difficulty in breathing. What's the use of it and how can I prevent asthma?
- An inhaler lets you inhale oxygen and lets you breathe easily especially when you have an asthma attack. We can prevent from having an attack by keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding inhaling dust and smoke especially cigarette smoke. You should avoid staying in public places with limited and enclosed space, away from pollution and keep your inhaler with you at all times. What triggers asthma are dust mites, smoke, pests, fur, etc. and you should avoid these.
