- The kingdom of Bumbaran was ruled by old King Madali who was full of envy towards his younger brother, Prince Bantugan
- One day, the kingdom was attacked by the enemies and Prince Bantugan led his men to defend the country.
- When the prince returned victoriously from the battle, he was saddened for no one met him or even talked to him
- He left the kingdom of Bumbaran and went to the Kingdom Between Two Seas. But as he arrived, he fell on the ground dead.
- The king and her sister Princess Datimbang decided to return Prince Bantugan's body to the kingdom of Bumbaran.
- King Madali and Princess Datimbang's brother decided to get the soul of Prince Bantugan from the angel of death. He was made alive and married Princess Datimbang. And they lived happily ever after.
