- AAAAAHHH!! Help me... My Stomach... I think i'm having a heart attack...
- Where... where am I? Wha.. what happened to me?
- "Divorce, Divorce is an ugly word" No I cannot think that, that is a bad thought

- Problems and incidents were plentiful but Brian Robeson's "No bad thoughts, they wont help me" and "Only good thoughts will get me through" attitude was key in his eventual survival...
- Mosquitoes are a constant problem for Brian right from the beginning, but the introduction of fire scares them away
- After being attacked by the bull, Brian is completely distraught and sore but still pulls through
- After losing everything in a tornado, Brian picks himself up and starts again
