Odysseus is the king of Ithaca which is his home and where he was born.

Odysseus, raider of cities, took your eye: Laertes' son, whose home's on Ithaca. ( Homer 1122)

Odysseus uses his cunning and smarts to outsmart the giant cyclops and escape out of the cave safely. he had drunken the giant and then blinded him and told him his name was nobody so that when he said Nobody is hurting me nobody seemed suspicious of what all the screaming was for. Here's liquor to wash down your scraps of men. Nohbdy trick me Nohbdy's ruined me. (Homer 1119)

Odysseus is a vast traveler, he has been lost at sea for the last 20 years.

What of my sailing, the, from Troy? What of those years of rough adventure, weathered under Zeus? ( Homer 1112)

He came in and raider troy and killed a lot of people being the mighty warrior he is. sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story of that man skilled in all ways of contending, the wanderer, Harried for years on end, after he plundered the stronghold on the proud height of Troy

Odysseus fights of the beast and blinds him with a wooden stake so they can make it out of the cave alive. Now, by the gods, I drove my big hand spike deep in the embers, charring it again, and cheered my men along with battle talk to keep their courage up- ah well, if nobody has played you foul there in your lonely bed, we are no use in pain given by great eus. Let it be your father, Poseidon lord, to whom you pray.
