- Photosynthesis is a huge process that is vital to our planet. This is a story of a water droplets journey through photosynthesis.
- First plants collect water from the sky, sunlight from the sun, and carbon dioxide from the air.

- This happens through the formula 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2.
- The water is split into oxygen and is used in another reaction.
- The carbon dioxide is used to make glucose.
- The sunlight provides energy for photosynthesis.
- The next reaction is the Light Dependent Reaction.

- This reaction creates energy for the next stage of photosynthesis. Water and light are used to create ADP and NADPH. This process happens in the thylakoids

- The Light Independent Reaction (Calvin Cycle) makes glucose from carbon dioxide. This reaction happens in the stroma.

- The ATP, NADPH, and glucose all play a part in creating energy for a plant to survive. With the reactions not only will the flowers be happy, but it also creates oxygen for us as well. Photosynthesis is an important reaction that has many wonderful outcomes.
