- Steps to getting Drivers Licence in British Columbia!
- You have to be 16 to get your L
- I took a practice test and booked my appointment to take the road test with ICBC! I have to get 40 out of 50 to pass!
- I need to bring my identification, a signed witnessed consent form.
- You might also have to pass a vision screening.
- You also have to pass a written test to get your L.
- There are practice tests you can take.
- 4. Limit of one passenger unless supervisors age is 25+. Family is exempt.
- 2. You need to have a qualified passenger in the car with you. They must be 25 years or older.
- Once you pass you written test and vision screening you now officially have your L. There are a few rules that you should know.
- 3. You need to have the L sign visible on your car.
- 1. You need to have a learners licence for 12 months before you can get your N.
- 5. No driving between midnight and 5am.
- I passed my written test and vision screening!
- Hmmm... Maybe I will take the driving lessons that way I get less time with my L and I get proper training from professionals!
- With the training form the professionals I can be extra smart on road safety!
- TIP: If you take an ICBC approved driver training during the learners stage you can get 6 months off you learners stage!!
- 3. Obviously, stay clear from alcohol and electronic devices. These could potentially get your licence taken away.
- Driving with an N
- 1. Your N sign much be visible from the back of your car.
- To get an N, you have to book an appointment and take the class 7 road test.
- 2. 1 passenger only. Family is exempt unless with supervisor of 25+
- Now that you have your N, like having the L there are still restrictions on what you can and cannot do.
- Yay! I passed my road test! Now I have my N!
- I have been practising driving for 6 months because I took lessons. Now its time for me to get my N.
- You can get a full drivers licence once you've had an N for 24 months without any driving prohibition. To become a completely certified driver you need to pass the class 5 road test.
- If you took lessons, they can lesson the time to 18 months!
- Although, you got your licence, it can be taken away from you extremly easily. Always obey traffic laws and be cautious of what is happening around you.
- I passed my class 5 road test! Now, i can drive without restrictions.
- I will be careful when I drive and pay attention to my surroundings.
