- Mr. Fox was having a debate with Ms. Lay when he realized most of her points were connecting with the people more than his points were. He needs a plan to keep his lead.

- Mr. Fox went home and came up with the "perfect plan" to harm her reputation by writing a false statement about her so he can win the election.

- Did you know Ms. Lay is a thief?Ms. Lay has been taking money that should be going to charity to buy herself new things.
- Ms. Lay was walking down the street when she saw the false written statement that was written by Mr. Fox to heart her chances of winning the election.

- She decided to sue him because what he did is called Libel, which is a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.
- I am suing you for writing this false statement of me to ruin my reputation
- Ms. Lay won the case for $20,000 and Mr. Fox has to make a public announcement saying that he made this all up.
