  • Rhea had taught Zeus from a young age to dislike Zeus and raised him to be a powerful and good fighter. A goat-like nymph raised Zeus most of his life, and influenced him to plot against his father.
  • MANY MANY YEARS AGO (WHEN ZEUS WAS A KID)...
  • I am going to kill my father and become king of the gods one day!
  • Yay Zeus! Now my husband/son will die and my kids will come back
  • Baa!
  • More than ever before, Zeus was ready to kill his father and save his siblings. Zeus wanted to take power and become king of all gods. First, Zeus must become a cup-bearer to earn Cronos' attention.
  • MANY MANY YEARS LATER...
  • Here it is father...
  • WHERE IS MY WINE! I AM TOO THIRSTY TO CONTROL THE UNIVERSE.
  • Zeus received a poison from Gaia and put it in Cronos' wine. The posion made Cronos vomit all of his children out and vomited out the stone he was tricked into swallowing.Cronos was furious.
  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN, FATHER? YOU ARE NOT MY SON- NO NO!
  • With the help of his siblings and allies (The Olympians) Zeus fought his father, Cronos and his allies (The Titans) for ten long years.
  • ON MOUNT OLYMPUS ........
  • I have come to fight you, Cronos and become king of the gods!
  • You will never fulfil the prophecy!
  • Finally, Zeus successfully defeated Cronos with the help of the Olympians
  • Zeus became the king of the gods of Olmpus
