- G1 Phase (interphase)
- I have noticed that the cells grows and becomes bigger!
- Oh.. Really!
- S Phase (interphase)
- That makes a lot of sense now
- This Cell also wants to copy more DNA for the later dividing cells
- G2 Pase (interphase)
- This is last process of interphase and it is very important
- What did the scientist discover?This scientist saw that during the G1 Phase a cell starts to eat a lot of nutrients to help it grow larger and replicate more DNA.
- Prophase (mitosis)
- I'll tell you my process!
- The Cell is talking to me and telling me what happens when he first wants to separate
- After that, it goes through something called the S Phase and in the S Phase the DNA starts replicating and copying so much
- Metaphase (mitosis)
- This is the easiest process for me it doesn't take a lot of energy from me
- What comes next? The G2 Phase where all the important parts of cell are getting prepared so the cell can separate.
- Anaphase (Mitosis)
- My chromatid sisters hate each other and start to go opposite ways
- Cell: Now, we start to divide. First, this takes so long and I have to break apart. My center (nucleus) starts to open and I make huge arms called spindles.
- The cell has a lot of processes and this is short
- Cell: This is short; I just have to move my chromosomes to the center
- Cell: As a cell my chromatid sisters start to spread away from the center
