- We'll name them Romulus and Remus
- Drown them in the water
- The supreme King Numitor was dethroned by his jealous brother Prince Amulius at the exact same time Amulius banished the beautiful Princess Silvia to the Temple of Mars. Amulius now was the ruler."Princess Silvia can never have sons to take over my throne," thought Amulius.
- But the unexpected happened, Silvia married Mars and had two baby boys.
- In time the news of the birth of the boys was spread and found its way to Amulius.
- A servant of Amulius was sent to drown the kids in a river. He picked up the cradle and threw it in the water. He then reported back that the kids were dead.
- But in fact they were not dead. They bobbed up and down until land was found but then the children woke up and cried. There, standing above the water, was a wolf. She was hungry but her love for young ones overcame her and brought them to her cave.
- As the children got older they ventured off into the forest deeper and deeper.One day when they were playing far away from their cave a man called Faustulus saw them and at night took them from the cave and brought them to his home.
