- Ecological Effects of Climate Change
- Industry and transportation are anthropogenic activities, meaning they originate from human activity
- Did you know the emissions from industry and transportation are extremely damaging to the natural environment!!!
- Emissions are composed of greenhouse gasses that trap solar radiation and slowly warm our planet
- This is causing glaciers and ice caps to melt which destroys polar bear and seal habitat and leads to sea level rise

- Warming temperatures are causing species range shifts where species migrate to cooler environments usually towards the poles
- Climate change is affecting phenology or the timing of life cycle events. Increased variability in temperature can mistime life cycle events
- Wait! It's not spring yet!!!
- I think I should be hibernating!
- It is also increasing the frequency and intensity of severe weather events. This is bad news for habitat susceptible to damage.... We need to reduce our emissions to stop these awful things from happening to our environment!!!
