- Sarah and Abram have always wanted kids but could never have them. But then one day God went to go and promise them 3 things. The first one was for them to have descendants, the second one is for everyone to be blessed through Abram, and the last one is to give their descendants the land of Canaan.
- Abraham's descendants end up being slaves in Egypt. Moses doesn't agree with being slaves and takes orders from God to make them stop being slaves. But the king of Egypt didn't want that so God send 10 plagues to Egypt.
- Moses led his people out of Egypt and followed what God had said to him. But they were out in the desert for years and all of Gods people except Moses started to distrust God. But then God gave them manna which is a droplet that can be used as water and food. But on Sunday which is rest day they weren't given manna so they had to save some from Saturday.
- God had decided on ten commandments which were:1. Do not worship any God except me2. Do not make any other idol3. do not misuse my name4. Remember the sobbath day is mine5. Respect your parents6. Do not murder7. Be faithful in marriage8.Do not steal9. Do not tell lies about others10. Do not want anything someone else has.
- Eventually Israel reaches the promised land of Canaan and they were very happy. They were supposed to worship and respect God but they didn't. Instead they worshipped their own Gods.
- Israel stated to have different idols than God. Then God let their enemies defeat the Israelites. When their enemies were attacking, the Israelites then prayed and cried out for help by God. Then God gave them Judges who fought off the enemies. But this went in a circle and the Israelites would always go back to their old ways of praying to other idols.
