  • Man, I miss my dad. I wish to be like him when I grow up.
  • Wow, isn't this a great depiction of soldiers' nobility and service to their country!
  • Oh yeah totally! I was actually listening to The Gauntlet and this resonates so well with it. There was this lyric, it went, ”Stand up and fight, and I'll stand up with you!” “I would rather fight and die" It was so powerful! My mom had to stand for a ceremony like this, and I got to go see her!
  • Meet Charlie, a true admirer of soldiers. His father was one, as was his grandfather. Unfortunately, both died in the line of duty. He is reading All Quiet on the Western Front.
  • I have always dreamed of going to a ceremony like that, my dad served too. I just read All Quiet on the Western Front. There was this amazing quote, "“You do your duty, you risk your lives, that deserves the highest honour--every man of you ought to have the Iron Cross." You should totally read some time, it's super patriotic!
  • I will definitely add that to the list! It sounds like these soldiers deserve a lot of honor for the work they do for our country. Like in this painting, they way they are standing with such prestige, clearly they deserve a lot of hard earned respect. Oh there is this really good movie I heard which is about soldiers. Do you want to come over sometime and watch with me? It can be a date!
  • Meet Blaze, she is listening to her motivational playlist, currently the song "The Gauntlet" by Dropkick Murphys. Her mom is currently deployed in Ukraine, she prays for her wellbeing.
  • Wow, this date is totally awesome. She picked a great movie, the part where Colonel Dax is trying to free the 3 soldiers and informs the major is so interesting. I'll talk about it with blaze after, I wonder what she thinks.
  • As Charlie and Blaze look at the "painting name" by ... they begin to recognize the life of honor and servitude these soldiers live as they fight for our country.
  • The teenagers are amazed by the painting. They feel a connection with each other through this piece of art.
  • They grabbed popcorn and sat down to watch "Path to Glory". There were tears in their eyes as they thought about their own families.
