- Here we see three "witches" discussing when they will meet again and how when they next neet they will meet Macbeth. These witches work for the same company as Macbeth.
- Act 1 Scene 4
- The president of the company, Duncan, hears praise about Macbeth from his second in command. He tells him how Macbeth won them the deal they were competing with their rival company for. Duncan tells him to promote Macbeth for his work.
- Act 1 Scene 5
- Macbeth and his friend, Banquo, are talking when we see the witches return to praise Macbeth. They tell Macbeth that he will be king and call him the CEO despite him not having that title. They also tell Banquo that his children will be presidents of the same company some day. Neither of them believe the witches until later that day when Macbeth is promoted to CEO.
- Act 1 Scene 6 and 7
- Macbeth and Banquo meet with Duncan who thanks them for their work on the deal. Duncan announces that he will be naming his son, Malcom President after he resigns. Duncan makes plans to have dinner at Macbeth's home.
- Macbeth tells his wife about the encounter with the witches and how he may be in line to become president. He tell her to prepare for a visit from Duncan tonight. She prepares herself to do what has to be done in order for Macbeth to become president.
- Duncan arrives at the Macbeth house with other coworkers. Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth that he has decided not to go through with killing Duncan. Lady Macbeth gets angry and calls him a coward. He eventually agrees to go through with it with Lady Macbeth's plan of killing him and framing another employee.
