- Barnum and Charity want to be together but Barnum is homeless and Charity is living with her rich parents, They can not be together. They both live in New York City. Barnum in the poor part and Charity in the rich part.

- It reveals the characters and they all have things that is wrong with them that they are embarrassed with. Barnum is trying to make a business, but everybody thinks it is fake.
- Falling actionFrom now on
- This is how Barnum tries to get him to go work for him and have fun and go with him. They also work about the percentage of the show they work out.
- Resolution The Greatest show
- Barnum goes on tour Jenny Lin which makes Charity mad and sad because she thinks Barnum is trying to make everybody like him. The tour goes great for Barnum, but at home with just Charity and the kids everyone is sad.
- The song From now on, is how the people who work for him are kind of mad at him for using them for the money. So in the song he says that from now on he will not care what other people will think about him. There is one problem though, he does not have the money.
- This song "The Greatest Show" is what the movie is all about and how people can have a trill and put on a smile. It is also the way of the director to say how far Barnum has come.
