  • Lewis and Clark met many different Native American tribes along the way such as the Osage tribe, the Sioux, and the Mandan.
  • The Lewis and Clark trail is over 3,700 miles long and starts at the Wood River in Illinois to the mouth of the Columbia River in Oregon
  • In conclusion the expedition led to new settlers exploring the new territory of the United States
