- If you text and drive, or do other risk behaviors such as eating while driving, it could impact your life and others around you more than you know.
- Because the woman was paying more attention to her phone, she wasn't focused that there was another car coming. This resulted in a bad car accident.
- Because of the woman's actions, she and the people in the victim's car could have gotten hurt and ended up in the hospital.
- The woman may have gotten sued from the victim for damage or had to pay their injury bills, as well as her own.
- To avoid the risk, silence your phone while you are in control of a vehicle, and put it out of sight so you are not tempted to look at it. You can also tell others before hand that you are driving so they don't text you.
