Storyboard Text
- I woke up on a big boat, there was no land. The conditions of the boat is terrible. I started to feel seasick, it's very smelly
- I arrived at a port, it was getting dark. All I can think of was the conditions from the boat ride. The ship was smelly, there wasn't lots of space under the deck and I got wounds from getting whipped.
- It was auction day, one of the people resisted and tried to run away but failed. One man in blue selected me as his slave. If I don't go with him I would have to face the consequences.
- My owner introduced me to my resting area and the person that I will be sharing the bunk bed with. He also explained the time for me when I work on my job and when I rest.
- It was a sunny day outside, I was sweating from the farm work I was doing. But while working, I see one of the slaves getting chased by the owner. I was confused on what's going on until I looked at the owner's house. His house was burning.
- Unfortunately for the slave, he faced death row for his actions of resisting. I wish slaves would just do more peaceful resistance instead of violence acts. so the owners would let us go.
