- I hate Christmas because I have bad memories revolving around it.
- How the Grounch Destroyed the Polar Express
- The Polar Express is taking a new route this year, let’s go!

- I had a dream about the polar express in this very town. I am going to derail it and ruin Christmas everywhere!
- The Grounch was constantly bullied by all his peers (besides Sandy Lou) and it made him hate Christmas. He thought about destroying it every year and each year he got pushed closer and closer towards that.
- Flip to the Polar Express. It is taking a new route this year! It will be going right through Howville, exactly where the Grounch resides. It is a magical train that only comes at night and it isn’t prepared to take on the evil Grounch.
- We all talked it out!
- The Grounch wakes up from a dream, sweating. He sees the Polar Express in his dream, and decides that he will take up this opportunity. He creates a derailer and sets it on the line.
- They played me.
- The Train was too strong! It broke the derailer, and now the Grounch, using his quick thinking, hopped on the train without equipment. He goes towards the front but the Conductor and Smoky lock the door. He turns to the kids.
- My trap failed! Backup plan!
- He sees how selfless Hero Dude is, and therefore sits and talks to the kids. He gets annoyed by Knows-It-All but Hero Dude and Willy calm him for just long enough to get him back to society.
- They bring him to court, with overwhelming evidence against him. He is accused of attempted train robbery and terrorism, and is given a life sentence in a maximum security prison. Hero Dude saved the day again!
