- These things look like cells to me
- All the cells gather around the board. Today, we will learn about how we were discovered and what the cell theory is. We will learn how we are discovered from the order of scientists who helped us be found. We will also learn what the cell theory is by looking at the scientists who created each part of it. So let us get started my cells.
- Matthias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann
- So my little cells. we were first discovered due to the creation of the microscope. Zacharias Janssen created this beautiful creation to look at things closer. It was quite popular and helped many scientists find interesting discoveries. However my cells, we would be found later.

- Cells just appear!
- We were really discovered by Robert Hooke, he would also name us cells as cells. He would do this by looking at the cork he was inspecting with a microscope and being reminded that the cells there looked like cells that monks lived in.

- Schleiden concluded that all plant tissues are composed of cells and that cells do not come from other cells. Schwann defined the cell as the basic unit of animal structure and that cells do come from other cells. They both created the first two parts of the cell theory but disagreed on the third. To prove which part was correct, another scientist came into view.

- Rudolf Virchow helped settle Schleiden and Schwann's disagreement by saying that Schwann was right after proving it through some research. Thus taking the responsibility for the third part of the cell theory. All cells come from cells.

- In the end, all three parts of the Cell Theory are that all organisms are made of cells, cells are the basic units of life. and all cells come from cells. Each part is contributed to by all the scientists up above. we should respect this discovery for explaining what we, cells, are.
