  • Trade means to buy and sell goods. And it's possible for people (traders) to make a fortune from trading. Traders loaded their ships with goods that were popular in Britain (like tea, sugar, tobacco and cotton) and soldthem to the British.
  • THE MIDDLE-PASSAGE
  • The slave trade is when human beings are bought and sold (instead of goods).
  • IMPORTANT PEOPLE
  • This trip consists in transporting the slaves from Africa to Europe.First the ship goes from Europe to Africa.Then the ship takes a two-month journey across the Atlantic Ocean.Finaly the ship completes the trip returning to Europe.
  • IMPORTANT PLACES
  • The ship is loaded with the slaves and they are taken on a two-month journey across the Atlantic Ocean. The second part of the ship's journey is known as 'The Middle Passage'
