- Growing up James Gatz always turned to his father Henry C. Gatz for advice. They weren't exactly close but understood each other. But then again his father was his main and most resourceful person to look up to growing up.
- Chapter 4
- Tom introduces his mistress Myrtle Wilson To Nick. Nick gets drunk, that is now the second time he gets drunk in his life. While drunk he saw Tom break her nose because she had spoken on Daisy's name.
- Chapter 5
- Nick gets invited to his neighbors party. He sees Jordan one of Daisy's friend and decided to stick with her for the party. As everyone is enjoying the very fancy party they hear rumors being spread abt Gatsby. Rumors like he was a German spy.
- Chapter 6
- Nick and Gatsby meet with Tom, Nick tries to meet the two but when he turned Gatsby was no where to be found. Later on Nick understood Gatsby disappearance when Jordan explains to Nick how Gatsby was once in love with Daisy. Then Jordan suggest Nick to arrange a meeting for the two.
- Jordan has asked Nick to arrange a meeting for Daisy and Jay to meet. Jay was very nervous as they hadn't seen each other in 5 years. The first time they saw each other was a brief look not enough time to actually talk.
- Tom, Gatsby and Daisy went out with many others. They meet daisy's baby, which they are stunned about because they didn't know she had a kid. When they got to the restaurant they started asking Gatsby personal questions which he didn't like. Gatsby and Tom got into a big argument . Tom told Gatsby Daisy didn't love him and she loved him first.
