- Paleolithic people were called hunter gatherers because to eat they had to hunt animals. This was dangerous and difficult to do.

- Neolithic people discovered farming 10,000 B.C years ago. This was much easier and provided a much better food supply.

- Why Is This Important?
- This change was important because Paleolithic people didn't always find animals, they had to go all day without eating. Meanwhile the neolithic people started farming and they had a reliable food supply causing for them to not run out of food.

- Paleolithic people occupied themselves by hunting, moving around and looking for homes.
- I am going to go on a long hunt so I can have food for the whole day.

- This change was important because neolithic people were able to accomplish more activities in there daily lives. This was also important because neolithic people could stay in a single place for a long time and Paleolithic people had to move constantly.
