  • Native American Population:60-112 million
  • The Native Americans leaved peacefully and nomadically in the frontier.

  • The White Americans introduced a lot of new diseases to the Native Americans. Since they had never experienced these diseases, they suffered badly killing (an estimate of) 90% of Native Americans.

  • Kill the Indian, save the man, said Captain Richard Henry Pratt in one of his speeches. The quote is talking about getting rid of the Native American culture to'save' the man inside.

  • America looks very different now, with the frontier gone. Yet there are still a lot of Native Americans that are still in reservations. Around about 30% of the 5.2 million population of Native Americans are still in reservations.
