- Alright! I got it! Time to go home.
- Uh, actually, I have a story to tell you, if you would mind I'd like to tell you. Follow me to my bench.
- I ended up just publishing it in daily installments on funbrain.com, and I signed a deal with a publishing company in 2006, with publications starting in 2007.
- So, my full name is Jeffery Patrick Kinney, and I was born on February 19, 1971, which currently makes me 52 years old.
- I have two kids named Will and Grant, but they're not home right now. Their mother, my wife's name is Julie.
- When creating Diary of a Wimpy Kid, my intention wasn't to be a children's author. I actually wanted to become a newspaper cartoonist, but they never officially brought me on board.
- Thank you! That's really all I have to say, so I think you should get off of my property before I'm forced to call the authorities...
- Since I started publishing Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2007, the series has gone on to win many regional and national awards around the globe.
- Currently, I have over 15 books in the main series, and I'm sure there's way more to come!
