  • Me and my 400 fellow travelers came form Florida to Texas in 1527

  • We crash landed in a natives land and only about 80 of us survived, the healthy made their way toward mexico, 3 of us stayed behind 1 died and one ran away. I then spent years as a slave with 3 others and over time we gained reputation as medicine men and we eventually had the chance to make our way back toward mexico.

  • After 10 long years, of being a slave, a trader, and even a honored medicine man shaman, I made it back home to mexico with my 3 fellow survivors in 1536. I reported everything that happened and reported on the land, people, and riches in Texas.

  • I was sent by the king in the 1680's to establish fur trade routes along the Mississippi. I also claimed the entire Mississippi basin for France calling it Louisiana

  • In July 1684, four ships with 300 more colonists along with me, set sail for Louisiana in search of the Mississippi. After I missed the mouth of the Mississippi I decided to land at Matagorda Bay.

  • After the first expedition, there was fewer than 40 of the original 300 settlers left. We ventured into east Texas on a second expedition to find the Mississippi but, in 1687 I was murdered in Texas by my own men because they didn't want to continue on the search.
