- Hi, my name is Casey Wild. I am 14 years old and live in the beautiful world of Maui, Hawaii. I live with my mom, dad, grandma, and twin brothers. My brothers' names are Chris and Connor and they are both 12 years old. Together we all live in a five-bedroom house off the coast of Paia beach on the North side of the island.
- My mom is a nurse at a nearby hospital and my dad is a pro surfer. In my free time, I love to go surfing so I guess you could say it runs in the family. I want to be a pro surfer just like my father. So to do that I better go practice before the sun goes down.
- Casey grabs her surfboard and heads out to her favorite beach where there are hardly ever any people. As she walks down the street she feels as if someone is following her but ignores the feeling and continues on her path. Once Casey makes it to the beach she sees a homeless man sitting asking for change. Casey doesn't have any cash on her, so she sets down the surfboard and starts to talk to him.
- Okay let's go, I see some good waves in the distance.
- Hey sir, it's us again! We were wondering if you were still up to learning how to surf
- I thought you’d never ask! Of course, I would love to surf with y'all.
- Casey turns around to grab the surfboard and it's not there. She starts to panic and the homeless man looks at her as if she was playing a prank or something. When she looks around there is a man in a black hoodie with my surfboard going around the corner.
- Sorry sir I think someone is trying to steal my surfboard, I’ll be right back.
- Ok, I’ll be here, good luck trying to catch the thief.
- Casey starts running to where she had seen the thief go but he had run off too fast for her to catch up. So she starts looking around the block and she runs into many of her friends and asks them to help find this mysterious thief. The sun starts to come down a little and it's time for dinner, but she has a mission to complete first. Casey turns to the next street and there it is! Her surfboard and the thief sitting right next to the street sign.
- Thank you, sis, you made me feel a lot better. How can I repay you for my actions?
- Well, actually I have an idea. Follow me.
