- Hi, my name is Martin Luther, I'm a monk, I don't like some of the church's practices, so I created a list of arguments against them, my list became known as Luther's Ninety-Five Theses.
- Hi, my name is Johann Gutenburg, I created the printing press and now I am helping Martin Luther create more of his lists, by using the printing press.
- Now I'm distributing the Ninety-Five Theses throughout Germany, and it is being welcomed by many people who are dissatisfied with the current state of the Church
- I am reading the letter that St. Paul sent to the romans, and I just came upon a passage in which Paul said that, "If a person had faith, that in itself was enough to be saved." That is, go to heaven. So I reasoned that, people were saved by believing in God and because God was merciful, not because they obeyed priests and gave money to the pope.

- I do not believe that people could choose to save themselves, however. Instead, I think that God had known, from the beginning of time, all the souls that would be saved. I think I'm going to call this predestination. Catholic priests did not marry. And although I'm a priest, I'm going to get married to that former nun, have six children, and I think I'm going to adopt eleven more.
- I am going to hold conservative, medieval views about many things, like, heaven and hell, the devil, angels, and witches. I think society had a duty to burn witches at the stake.
