- Thabo receives an email from the union regarding him being a candidate for being a shop steward

- good morning gentlemen. mr Baker this is just feedback that the new Shop steward for ABC is Thabo Nkesi.
- The union members will start to vote for the person that is eligible to be a shop steward, the voting process is done through a secret voting ballot.
- Monday, training
- Thabo is informed and the union will than take him for training, for them to do their job the way its expected of them, by the management and by the employees
- we will send you out for training and the management will be informed of this

- Union meets with management to give them the feedback they had with the voting process. Management is pleased and leaves the meeting with the knowlegde that Thabo the new shop steward will be out of office for training

- Immediately after Thabos training he arrives to the office with some trouble, the union briefed him that some employees have voice out saying they want a salary increase

- 1.good morning team, thank you for meeting with me, i was briefed with regards to the current issue, however id like to hear from you as well.
- 4. its been 2 years with no increase i think we deserve it.
- Employees meet with the union, and after the meeting with the trade union, the union saw that the employees needs and disputes were valid and assign the shop steward to handle the dispute within the organisation.

- 2.well as you know, the economy hit us hard with everything going up and yet our salaries remain the same. we are tired and we are struggling
