- Sam looked at Eric irritably. The intensity of Erics gaze made the direction in which he looked terrible, for Sam had his back to it, (Golding, 98).
- AHHH!
- RUN! RUN!
- 'we don't need the conch anymore. We know who ought to say things. What good did Simon do speaking, or Bill, or Walter. It is time some people knew they've got to keep quiet and leave ciding things to the rest of us', (Golding, 102).
