- Bibi, Jamal & Dad had to leave their home in a taxi. Later on, they went to pick up their mother.
- Chapter 15
- The mother was arrested and held at the soccer field with all the other illegal teachers.
- Chapters 16 - 17
- Bibi, Jamal, Dad & Mom hid in a truck so they could cross the Afghanistan border so they are able to go to Australia.
- Chapters 17 - 19
- Someone comes up to Jamal and asks if he wants to play soccer. So they do but the random boy runs away with the ball. Jamal gets the ball back but he doesn’t know his way back to his family.
- Jamal tries to make bread with salt, flour, an oven and water so he can attract his dad with the smell. He can’t make bread so instead he finds his way to his mother and Bibi. They are standing outside the tent because dad is surrounded by Police.
- After having the police paid by dad, he comes back. In a couple of days, they are to go to Australia. Very quickly, Jamal comes up with an idea, he thinks that the police could get them to Australia. They are at the airport and they find their plane but after they have to go on a boat.
