Hey, how come there aren't any trees around here ? It looks like all the trees are disappearing .

But Why ?



In fact, there has been many trees and forest disappearing around the globe . This is because of Deforestation. Deforestation is the action of clearing a wide area of trees.

Oh my! But why does deforestation take place and how does it impact us.

Here, let me show you why.

People cut down trees and destroy forests for their own needs.

Even though some forests remain, it still has a major effects on us, the environment and our planet.

Agriculture is known to be the leading cause of deforestation.

As we humans rely on agricultural commodities such as crops, vegetables and industrial produced meat and dairy, we are losing forests and increasing the rate of climate change.

Deforestation has also lead to loss of wildlife habitats for many species of animals such as this rabbit.

Oh no, poor little rabbit

The clearing the forests have also led to almost 27 species going completely extinct.
