- I thought of a question. If plants are living things, how do they get food or even eat? Like this tree and lilypad.
- I can answer your question.
- What? No.

- (Sigh) Go on.
- Nutrients needed to perform photosynthesis of course! Let's take a better look.
- It's a process called photosynthesis. Photo in greek means light where as synthesis in greek is to put together.
- To put what together?
- Mr. Frog (better of called as Toado) has an intresting question. Join him to answer this intresting question.

- Sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water is needed to make food. CO2 (carbon dioxide) enters through tiny pores invisible to the naked eye called stomata, cholorphyll traps sunlight, and the roots take in waters and nutrients that pass the Phloem and Xylem. combine all this to make food or sugar for the plant and excess sugar not needed yet is stored in the leaves as starch. Oxygen is also produced which is considered a waste product for the plants.
