- Romeo is hiding from his friends, Benvolio and Mercutio, who are looking for him.

- Romeo and Juliet meet with Juliet on the balcony, they begin to declare their love for each other.
- ACT 2, SCENE 5
- Jesu, what haste! Can you not stay awhile?Do you not see that I am out of breath?
- Romeo meets up with Friar Lawrence, explaining to him that he is no longer in love with Rosaline and wants Friar Lawrence to plan his and Juliet's wedding.
- ACT 2, SCENE 6
- Come, come with me, and we will make short work,
- The Nurse arrives so Romeo can tell her the information to deliver to Juliet, meanwhile Benvolio and Mercutio mock the nurse.
- The Nurse returns, however she stalls before telling Juliet the information that Romeo had given her.
- Romeo and Juliet are inside the church and they are about to get married/
