- Dally told them how they found Cherry and that she could testify that the Socs were drunk and that it was in selfdefense.
- They went back to the church and meanwhile, Dally was worried about Johnny. Dally hasn´t ever worried of someone like that.

- When they arrived to the church, they found out that it was on fire and that there where kids inside it.

- Ponyboy and Johnny crawled to get to the kids in the back room. They found them and save them but they both got burned a little.
- When Ponyboy woke up, he was in a hospital, he didn´t knew where the others where.
- When Ponyboy was fully recovered, Darry and Sodapop came in.
