- Most people had their workshops in their houses. They spent lots of their time on the roof of their houses because it was a cool place to sleep on a hot night and somewhere you could sit with friends.
- Introduction
- the Indus valley existed over 5000 thousand years ago in now the modern countries of Pakistan and Northern India. And was near the Indus River
- Toilets/ sewer systems

- In their bathrooms they stood on a brick tray and poured water on theirselves from a jar. Dirty water flowed out of the houses through pipes and into dranes.
- The Great Bath
- The Great Bath is part of a large citadel complex that was found in the 1920s during excavations of Mohenjo-daro. The bath was built of fine brick work form some of their best builders.
- Seals
- They used seals to tag a clay pot or basket to show that it had ben paid for.
- They built on top of sacred and holy spots and the cites and they started to become overcrowded. Which caused Their trade networks collapsed which had a big impact on the indus cities.
