In the beginning it was dark and desolate, until God created light. He created the light and the sky. God gave the sun to us to use responsibly and to help improve society.
God separated the sky and the sea and made it vast with nature.
God created the moon and the stars, with that he created two great lights, one to rule the night (the moon) and one to rule the day (the sun).
God created all the life on Earth. On that day is when they were formed, creatures of both sea and air.
On the sixth day God created humankind in His image. They were to have dominon over all living creatures, at the same time God created the living creatures of land. God placed human kind in a position of responisblity over His creation.
And on the seventh day God rested, making the Sabbath Day Holy. God saw all the work he had done and saw that it was good. God made the earth for us to thrive in; we need to be grateful of that and think about the ways we treat it and nurture it. We should do all of this in the image of God.
