- In a gloomy pharmacy, Sangstrom meets a gnomelike, gnarled old man. Sangstrom asks the druggist for what he came for, a completely undetectable poison. The druggist then comes around to the corner, and invites him to a cup of coffee. Sangstrom agrees to join him.
- Yes! Another one.
- I heard a rumor to the effect that you have a completely undetectable poison.
- EXPOSITION
- Hi there!
- They both go to the other room for a coffee break
- Sure! Thank you very much.
- RISING ACTION
- Follow me!
- After they arrive to the backroom, the druggist questions why Sangstrom would want an undetectable poison.
- Yes, it matters. I must be convinced that you deserve what I can give you. Otherwise...
