  • Doctor! I sneezed this morning, I think Im sick!
  • If we are really sick, than when we sneeze, mucus will flow down the nose to absorb any bacteria and viruses.
  • This process of homeostasis shows that the nervous system specifically the nose and the respiratory system works together to keep your nose clean and healthy by regularly sneezing and sending mucus when you are sick. Not sneezing is actually something to worry about instead
  • We sneeze when there are particles that is bothering our nose so that the bacteria and viruses will flow back away. Later the mucus will flow down the nose to absorb any bacteria and viruses remaining.
