- Hey this Is my land!
- when American territories were still being disputed the French and the British were arguing over who would control the Ohio river valley . eventually, this lead to war with British general Edward Braddock and George Washington leading the British
- No! this is my land !
- a notable fight that happened during the 7 years war was the fighting at fort necessity. during this fighting George Washington was pushed out of fort necessity and general Edward was killed.
- eventually the treaty of paris was signed in 1763 with the british defeating the french and the british gaining large masses of land in northern america
- because of the war, people started to fear their saftey. benjamin franklin came up with the albaney plan. this would unite the colonies with their government powers and decisions. one of the first political cartoons was created for the albany plan called join or die
- the british were loosing the war. in addition to the french having one of the most powerful armies, they also had the lenni lennape fighting the british for them as well. it didnt help that the iroquois were also on their side
- the war turned to the british's favor when william pitt became secratary of state. william made a lot more investments into the war going on in america
