- The Griots were people that they told stories about the past they got these stories from their family tree they passed it on from generation to generation and then there they would tell the people and the king about these stories because then they can know what happened and then we can make a better place for their people and learn different types of cultures and religions.
- This story is about Mansa Musa
- This is the trade of salt and gold people would go to the salt mines and dig blocks of salt and then they would go to Molly and then they will sell those songs for pounds of gold and on the way to Mail on their Caravan and trade with other people where they were going and they will learn different types of languages like Arabic and their culture.

- I am going to my town to give so to them I have a family there we are Christian we speak Arabic would you like to buy some ivory from me
- This is the richest man alive called Mansa Musa he gave a lot of gold to his people and he practice the religion of Islam he traveled a journey to go to Mecca while going to his journey he stopped in many places and build schools and temples and he stopped in Cairo and build many schools and give a lot of gold to them and he had many servants to take care of his camels and him while on his journey to Mecca.
