- Since then he's been having some trouble walking, kind of like he's drunk and he's been more aggressive during play with my other dog
- Well- Fluffy did visit the dog park last week during the evening and encountered a raccoon came back with a few skin wounds

- Has Fluffy recently had contact with other dogs or been somewhere dogs frequent?

- Oh no! So after the 10 days I can just pick him up?

- Good Morning Sarah, I've been told Fluffy has been having some issues balancing and bit you, also hearing he had a run in with a raccoon
- So because Fluffy has unidentifiable wounds from a raccoon they are carriers of rabies and state law says we must quarentine Fluffy for 10 days because he bit you.
- yes as long as he proves negative because there is no official test for rabies but there is the potential that Fluffy can pass away
- Fluffy continues to show ataxia or loss of balance and begins to have seizure activity within the next 6 days of quarentienno improvementover that night Fluffy passes away and his body is sent to be tested for rabies
- Good Afternoon Sarah we are calling to inform you that unfortunately Fluffy has passed away last night
- I was afraid this would happen, can this happen to my other dog?
- But why is it a law? what if I don't want to get my pet vaccinated?
- It's very important to get all pets vaccinated for rabies it is also a state law!
- It is important because other pets in the household can contract rabies and pass away much like Fluffy
