- Hi! I am Mr.Lava, and i’m going to show you the never ending process I go through in order to turn into a rock. This process is called the rock cycle!
- First, I cool down into an igneous rock. This is called crystallization! The slower I cool the bigger I’ll be!
- Then, I get broken into sediments, this is weathering. And, then I get mixed with other sediments through wind and water, this is erosion.
- I then get compacted with the other sediments. I am now a sedimentary rock!
- I am now in the earth’s crust! I am currently being exposed to the heat and pressure underground. I’m a metamorphic rock now!
- Well whoops, the intense heat here is melting me!! Im turning back to lava, just as I was at the start of this process. As you can see, this is a never ending process me and my fellow rocks go through. Bye!
