- Macbeth and Banquo meet the three weird sisters that tell them their prophecy
- Act 4 Scene 1
- Lady Macbeth plants a seed in Macbeth mind to kill the current king, Duncan. In this scene Macbeth hallucinates a dagger before gong to kill Duncan.
- Act 5 Scene 2
- Macbeth murders Banquo, as he finds him as an obstacle to his throne. Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost in front of his guests which leaves his guests feeling uncomfortable and scared.
- Act 5 Scene 9
- Macbeth joins the witches hoping to discover what his fate has in store for him. The witches conjure up three apparitions that console Macbeth and lead to him believing no one and no thing can kill him.
- Leaders of the Scottish revolt against Macbeth's rule await the arrival of the supporting English fores near Birnam wood, and report desertions fro Macbeth's forces.
- Macbeth dies fighting Macduff. Malcolm becomes the rightful king.
